The Founders: A Remote Life

The founders of GoBundu.com, Werner & Chantelle Smith, are bush people through-and-through. They met whilst working

at a 5-star luxury lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve of South Africa back in 2001. Their love for the remote bush lead

them to managing luxury lodges in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, followed by 5 years of managing the Kangela Housing Estate

in Ponta Malongane, Mozambique, where they lived at the time.

They founded GoBundu with the original intention of using their superior location knowledge to offer a specialized holiday home

booking service to South African travelers visiting the highly desired south of Mozambique.
